LANDSCAPE - 58º North Photography

LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY

My landscape photography is focussed on the group of islands I call home. The Outer Hebrides, also known as the Western Isles (Scottish Gaelic: Na h-Eileanan Siar), is an island chain lying 30 miles off the north-west coast of Mainland Scotland. There are 15 inhabited islands in the Outer Hebrides (major islands include Lewis, Harris, North and South Uist, Benbecula and Barra), with a total population of around 28,000. In addition, there are over 200 uninhabited islands. The Scottish Gaelic language forms an important part of the Outer Hebrides’ identity; more than half the population speak Gaelic. With its powder white beaches and Atlantic waves, dark moorland and rugged mountains, amazing wildlife and a rich and vibrant culture, the Outer Hebrides is a unique place to live and photograph.

A wide range of prints, wall art and other products are available to order through my online print shop. Just take a note of the reference number of the photographs you wish to order and enter them in the notes at checkout.

If you are looking for a photograph of a specific location in the Outer Hebrides and don't see it here, please contact me with your requirements; I have an archive of around 15,000 images from all over the islands.
