WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
My photography style is natural and relaxed, and I tend to use a documentary/reportage style, with some informal group shots and couple portraits included. Wherever possible I use only available, natural light.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I use professional Fujifilm digital photographic equipment. I use Fujifilm X-T3 cameras and a selection of prime and zoom lenses and flash units to cover all scenarios, so you can be assured you will receive a variety of images of the highest quality.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS WILL WE RECEIVE?
The final number of images depends on many factors, but generally speaking, you can expect 400+ carefully selected images from a full day shoot.
WILL I GET COLOUR OR BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHS?
You can choose to have either all colour, all black and white, or a mix of both (usually around 75% colour, 25% black and white).
ARE YOU INSURED?
I have public liability, professional indemnity and equipment insurance. You can request to see confirmation of this at any time after booking.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR CAMERA BREAKS DOWN?
I have backup cameras and lenses, so am covered for equipment breakdown. Your photographs will be backed up during the event, so the loss of images is very unlikely.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY?
Not a problem - this is Scotland after all! Umbrellas and wellies make for some fun wedding shots and my cameras and lenses are weather-sealed, so can take a bit of rain. We can also do some outdoor shots in more sheltered locations or move inside if it's really bad!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOGRAPHS AND ALBUMS?
You'll receive some preview photographs (25-30) within 72 hours of the wedding. I aim to have your final set of photographs edited and online around 6 weeks after your wedding.
ARE THE PHOTOGRAPHS MINE TO KEEP, PRINT AND SHARE?
The final set of photographs, downloadable from your online gallery, are the edited high-resolution digital files with a licence to make copies and prints among your family and friends and share on social media. You can also order a wooden USB in a presentation box containing all the photographs. You and your family and friends can also order prints and other items from your online gallery. Copyright ownership of the photographs remains with 58º North Photography.

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE?
A non-refundable booking fee of £200 is required on booking. The remainder of the balance must be paid four weeks before your wedding. Payments can be made by bank transfer or credit/debit card.
HOW DO WE MAKE A BOOKING AND SECURE OUR DATE?
You can make an enquiry by filling in my enquiry form, I'll get back to you as soon as possible. We'll then either meet up or discuss by phone/email, to make sure all your questions are answered and you're happy to go ahead before I send you an online contract. Your booking is only secured once the signed contract and the booking fee of £200 have both been received. Nearer to the wedding date we can meet or talk by phone for the pre-wedding consultation, to make sure all the details are covered and we have a plan for the day.
